Greenhouses

Today I did something in school.
It really was quite cool.
We made a greenhouse full of plants,
Some of the seeds were as small as ants.
Our green house with no light,
Was growing! What a sight.
No cotton was growing too.
It was a sight for me and you,
No water wasn’t very tall.
In fact it wasn’t growing at all.
I also made a greenhouse that grew just fine,
It had air and water and light like sunshine,
I’m glad I made a green house that was cool.
I’m also glad I did it inside of school.

Pumpkin Art

Today we spent part of our morning in art. Mrs. Sampson taught us about organic and geometric lines. We also learned about the patterns we can make with both kinds of lines. We used our new knowledge to draw really cool jack o' lanterns. Mrs. Jenkins, our art mom, was there to help us too.
